Project brief
Introduction
Technology has become an integral part of nearly every aspect of our lives. Our personal connections, work, and daily activities are more intertwined than ever before. In this project, students will examine the strengths and weaknesses of current technologies and develop solutions based on their findings. While most technological advancements bring positive changes, some also come with unintended consequences.
Problem
Currently there are no budgeting platforms that caters to all users no matter their age and level of financial responsibilities. Majority of budgeting apps are currently designed for more stable, older and high tech savvy users. They don’t provide language that would draw attention to the younger generation. Another issue found with research is a lot of users are not drawn to them because of boring designs, cluttered with numbers, and not intriguing to use or view.
Solution
I created an app called Your Funds, that is designed to be beneficial for all users, from High school students, people who are just entering the workforce, college students, regular life styles and for people who may have their own business. Your Funds allows you to see all of your financial accounts at one glance, the user will have full customization from the account preference, to display mode, and what is important to them and their specific money goals.
