Introduction
Technology has involved in virtually every aspect of our lives. Our lives and our jobs and our friends have never been more connected. Students will be exploring what works and what needs improvement in technology and developing solutions based on your findings. Most advances in technologies have positive benefits, with some having unintended consequences. Identify an area of technology that can be improved and create a better experience for the user. You may decide to make the technology better or decide to create an analog solution for the digital problem.
Problem
Currently there are no budgeting platforms that caters to all users no matter their age and level of financial responsibilities. Majority of budgeting apps are currently designed for more stable, older and high tech savvy users. They don’t provide language that would draw attention to the younger generation. Another issue found with research is a lot of users are not drawn to them because of boring designs, cluttered with numbers, and not intriguing to use or view.
Solution
I created an app called Your Funds, that is designed to be beneficial for all users, from High school students, people who are just entering the workforce, college students, regular life styles and for people who may have their own business. Your Funds allows you to see all of your financial accounts at one glance, the user will have full customization from the account preference, to display mode, and what is important to them and their specific money goals.
